The Kaleri smartphone application revolutionizes the art exhibit and museum experience for both hosts and visitors. With a user-friendly content-management platform, museums and galleries can provide descriptions, information about the artists, and audiovisual clips for each piece of art in the collection. As visitors walk through the museum or exhibit, the Kaleri app allows them to learn more about the pieces they are looking at, engage with the artists behind the pieces, and share their favorite pieces directly on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Kaleri delivers location-based content with beacon technology. As visitors move through the museum or exhibit, the Kaleri app provides informative content or “profiles” for the art in that particular room and updates when the visitors move on to the next room. This enables visitors to actively engage with, learn about, and share the art pieces they are viewing in real-time. Simultaneously, this allows museums and galleries to organize and deliver content to visitors with strategic timing and in a more accessible fashion. Visitors have access to all the art profiles through the Kaleri app and can continue to look through and view them even after leaving the museum or exhibit.
The Kaleri Team is helping Team Orange County create a customized smartphone exhibit for Casa del Sol. When visitors with the app walk through our house, Kaleri will deliver information about the specific features and appliances in whichever room the visitor is. This will ensure that each visitor of Casa del Sol is exposed to and learns about each notable component of the home. It will also give Team Orange County an alternative platform to acknowledge our sponsors and supporters.
